Today I had the opportunity to attend the Greater Columbus Sister Cities International (GCSCI) Annual Meeting as a guest of Dr. Paul Carringer, who is on the Board of Directors. Paul's marketing company, Caring Marketing was an Annual Meeting Diplomat Partner. The American and Italian National Anthems were played by the Columbus Symphony Orchestra Quartet and the luncheon entertainment also included Niccole Paganini's Caprice's being performed by Joanna Frankel, Violin Soloist of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
The program included a panel presentation that was moderated by Priscilla Tyson, President Pro Tempore, Columbus City Council with panel experts, Kaye Bea Jones, Professor, Architecture with the Knowlton School of Architecture, The Ohio State University and Rossen Milanov, Music Director of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Milanov spoke of art bridging the gap between cities and cultures allowing us to understand one another better.
