I had the opportunity last Friday to volunteer for AAF Columbus’ student advertising competition, The Pitch 2018. A team of college students get the opportunity to tour the advertising agency that they’re assigned to for the day and then work with the agency pros to produce a marketing/advertising plan for a local non-profit. This year, the Alzheimer’s Association of Central Ohio was the client.
I was based at Ologie for the day where I got to watch the students collaborate with an outstanding group of Ologists to come up with a great big idea. Ologie won last year’s The Pitch competition. I talked with the team of students afterwards and they would all recommend The Pitch to other students. Thanks to all of the participating agencies: Fahlgren Mortine, IBM iX, Ologie and Ron Foth Advertising. It was a great day!
